About The Teacher
Hi Miss Onstad's Fabulous Frog Friends! I am looking forward to a "FROG"-tastic third grade year with you. In our classroom learning is always fun. Here is a little information about me! I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy exercising, eating at yummy restaurants, watching reality TV shows like American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance, getting pedicures, and reading great books. I love being a teacher. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a very little girl. My parents even have pictures of me playing school when I just a toddler. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love that every day I get to wake up and work with little people just like you! Some of the fun things we do in our classroom are: Morning Meeting, Character Lessons, Thinking Maps, Write from the Beginning, Accelerated Reader, Literacy Workstations, Every Day Counts, Problem of the Day, Math Investigations, hands-on science and social studies activities, learning games, collaborative learning,Promethean activities,computer games and much much more! I tell you what, we are always engaged in learning in this classroom! In our classroom, we are a family. We work together, support each other, and always treat each other kindly. I couldn’t be more excited to be your teacher. I just know we will have a un-"FROG"-ettable year.
