VOCABULARY WORDS – (Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type) Study these words. 
You should be able to read them easily and know how to use them.

MATH FACTS: Study the facts on the attached sheet. We will review these 
addition facts for the next few weeks. Mix up the order of the problems for 
practice. The time for this week’s drill is 3 minutes.	

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: Write your heading. Parents, please sign.  LOOK OVER 
CLASSWORK EVERY NIGHT TO PREPARE FOR TEST!

MONDAY: 
	Write Rainbow Spelling words two times each. Use 2 colors (black and 
yellow would be fun) – Go Saints!! 

TUESDAY: 
	Copy the poem NEATLY, and create a Christmas picture (color it). Be 
ready to say the poem Friday. 
	Think of a country to do Christmas Around the World Report on.

WEDNESDAY: 
	Let someone ask you “How To” spell your words
	Put vocabulary words in a sentence.
THURSDAY: 
	Have a parent give you a practice Math facts drill 
	Have a parent give you a Spelling  practice test. Bring both to 
school.
	Be ready to say the Day Before Christmas poem.  (Grade)

Language:  Combining sentences/predicates (Punctuation) (Test Friday)

Science:  Scholastic News  (Graded)
Social Studies:  Farms (Christmas Poem will graded)

--- Please send in $3.00 for our book trade.  This is done the day of our 
Christmas Party.
--- Tuesday, December 1 – Santa Pictures
--- Art Time is coming to us on Monday, December 7th! The $10 fee must be 
paid by Tuesday, December 1st. We look forward to creating a work of art 
with the help of these professional artists!
--- Christmas Around the World Report is due Monday, December 14th. 
--- Please send in Box Tops or labels.
--- Our class Christmas party will be Thursday, December 17th.
--- We will have a pajama party/read-a-thon on Friday, December 18th.  
Students have a ½ day and will be able to wear PJ’s to school as we relax 
and read. This will also be the last day for students to reach their AR 
goals. We return to school Monday, January 4th.
