No, homework is not graded. I provide Math homework usually every
night to help students practice thier skills independently and to
inform parents of what is happening in the classroom. However,
some families may choose to do more by reviewing the chapters in
the Math textbook, or half the problems due to the specific needs
of thier child and family lives. Homework should be brought back
to school daily, however I typically do not review it until
Thursday.
*Many parents in the past have requested the weekly agendas for
the upcoming weeks along with homework on Friday prior to the
weekend. When possible we try to accomodate those request,
however the pacing of instruction may slow down or speed up.
Therefore, there will be days when homework does not match the
skill that was introduced that day.
