Accelerated Reader

The motivational program to encourage students to read this year is called, "Survivor: Operation Honey Island. Adventure. Training. Results.". Students will reach a certain goal for certification. They will be recognized in the display located in the main hallway by the library. Students must pass the quizzes with at least 80% accuracy to count for certification. The students are very excited about seeing their names on the front wall, so be sure to find your child's name when you come to school. Grab a book and have some fun!

READY READER Accumulate 5 points through any combination of books read to and read with.

INDEPENDENT READER Read at least 3 books at a 1.2+ book level independently, accumulate 10 points and pass the quizzes.

RISING READER Read at least 3 books at a 1.6+ book level independently, accumulate 10 points in independent reading and pass the quizzes.

SUPER READER Read 3 books at a 2.0+ book level independently, worth 1 point or more each.

ADVANCED READER Read 3 books at a 3.0+ book level independently, worth 2 points or more each.

STAR READER Read 3 books at a 4.0+ book level independently, worth 4 points or more each.
