Our Thanksgiving Feast Was a Huge Hit!
What a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast we were able to have, because of our
wonderful parents! Thanks to all who prepared and sent items. Special
thanks to Mrs. Kelle, Mrs. Penny, and Mrs. Gina for helping with the serving
process. A great time was had by all and our unit on the food groups
culminated in a very delicious way!
Christmas Party
Our class is one of many who have chosen to participate in a "Christmas
Around the World" celebration/educational event. We will be producing and
displaying our "Christmas from Ireland" presentation during the week of
December 7th. We will also complete the presentation for our families on
the day of our Christmas Party, December 17th.
We will also have our traditional "Secret Santa" class party, in which each
child volunteers to randomly pull a peer's name from Santa's hat. The name
that is pulled will represent the person who you will be asked to buy a
$5.00 gift for. This name is a "secret" thus making you that
person's "Secret Santa." At our party, we will be given 3 guesses, in which
we will try to reveal who our SS is! Many will not be able to "keep a
secret" and it is always fun to find out who can!!! Our Room Grammy and Mom
will be contacting you for assistance in preparing our foods and drinks for
this fun event. Thank you in advance for helping make this end of the year
party a great one!
