There will be NO homework assigned for this week!!!
Merry Christmas!
We do have a few reminders:
•Please have your child bring in his/her Secret Santa gift no later then
Tuesday, December 15th. The present should be marked: To: Name of Child
From: Guess Who???
•Our Room Nana will be contacting you this week to send in goodies for the
party. Please remember we have major allergies to nuts. Whatever you send
in should be “nut-free”!
•Our party will begin at 2:15. We have a short “Irish Christmas”
presentation that will last around 15-20 minutes. We will then have our
Secret Santa Gift Openings. We will eat our food items shortly after that.
You may check your child out after our party, if you wish.
•Friday, Dec.18 is a Half Day: There will be no testing this day. It is our
AR Pajama Party Day. Please make sure your child wears his regular shoes to
school that day. Also, since everyone has or will have made their AR Goals,
I have told the children they may bring in cards/games to play for the 30-45
minute AR time that is allotted.
We have had an AWESOME year so far and I am looking forward to 2010.
It is at this time of the year that I begin to think of how VERY fortunate
and blessed I am to be at HIE. You parents have been so wonderful to me and
I just want to thank each of you…from the bottom of my heart. I hope that
all of you and your families have a CHRISTmas filled with His love,
blessings, and with laughter! Stay Safe! See you ‘next year!’
