About The Teacher
I have been teaching at Live Oak High School for fifteen years. I am married to Phil Jenkins and all three of our children, Paige, Parker, and Paiton, graduated from Live Oak. My oldest daughter, Paige, is married to Josh Seals who also graduated from Live Oak High. They have blessed us with four grandchildren, eleven year old Cameron Blair, seven year old Caleb Joshua, five year old Colbie Marie, and three year old Carson Elizabeth. Parker is married to Ashley Thurston of Denham Springs. They are enrolled at St. George University in Grenada down south in the Carribean studying medicine. Paiton married her high school sweetheart, Justin Achord, who also graduated from Live Oak. Jusin is an engineer for Chevron and Paiton teaches High School 101 and IBCA here at Live Oak. All of our children and their spouses graduated from LSU-Baton Rouge. We, individually and as a family, love the Lord, are Tiger fans, love LOHS and this community, and I enjoy my career as a high school teacher. In addition, I am a wellness educator and a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. I have been involved with MK for over ten years.

Business Computer Applications classes are business subjects. It is my desire that students use these courses for self improvement in discipline, work-ethic, and time management. I also hope they see the importance of developing their character at all times because I believe their name and reputation are their most important assets.
