September 18, 2009… Rosh Hashanah5 September 28, 2009…………Yom Kippur5 March 29, 2010… First Night of Passover 1 No students report to school. 2 Students report to school in the morning for one-half day. 3 In case of emergency, student make-up days will be taken from the Mardi Gras Holiday. 4 All teachers who did not “bank” six (6) hours of workshop time will be required to attend either one-half day or one full day to satisfy the state in-service mandate. 5 Observance begins at sundown on the previous day. NOTE: The School Calendar is subject to change as a result of unforeseeable or emergency situations.
