I am proud to say that I'm a product of St. Tammany Parish Public Schools,
and equally proud to say this will be my 17th year as a teacher in our
system! I taught my first two years in another parish, but quickly realized
I'd rather be "home." I enjoyed teaching third grade for 12 years, then second
grade for five years, and now I'm very pleased to have returned to third.
I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education, with a Master's of Education in
Curriculum/Instruction, both from Southeastern Louisiana University.
I live in Big Branch, near Fontainebleau State Park, with my husband and
our two sons. Caleb is in 5th grade at MMS, Jacob is in 2nd grade here at
Lyon, and my stepson Rob is a student at SLU. We also share our home with many
pets: two cats, an 8 month old puppy, a cockatiel, and an albino corn snake!
We believe we can achieve!
