Monday :

Reading/Language: Study vocabulary words and definitions. Write the definitions if you did not get it done in class. Copy the sentences that use the word at the end of the glossary definitions.

Spelling: Write each word 1x. BEST HANDWRITING ON HOMEWORK!

Math: worksheet. Please help your child learn money. They are still having trouble with this.

Science : Looking for an experiment! Bring it in! Your child's date to bring in an experiment is ____________. Be ready practice it beforehand at home so you know what you are doing.

Social Studies: This week will be varied and skipping around a little.

Tuesday:

Reading: Reread the story with help. Study the definitions. Read the Take-Home book with your child. Make flashcards of any words they miss. Drill those words all week.

Spelling: we will be looking at all the spelling patterns for the consonant digraphs: ch, th, sh, and wh. Draw and label the words.

Math: worksheet

Wednesday:

Reading/Language: Write your own sentences with the vocabulary words. Fix mistakes. Read the second Take-Home book with your child. Study definitions.

Spelling: Have someone call out the words for you to spell.

Math: worksheet

Thursday:

Reading: Study definitions. REREAD the story.

Language: Write a summary of the story.
