I earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Ed. and Special Ed. SLU May,2000
and a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Early Intervention at SLU
May, 2006. I am extremely lucky to work with three of the best paraeducators
at Lyon Elementary. One of my paraeducator's name is Ms Monica Ernest. She
has had experience teaching in a prekindergarten class, she and I have
worked
together for two years. One of my other paraeducator's name is Wendy Crowe.
She has many years experience with young children, and we have worked
together for a year. My third paraeducator is Ms Gladys Holliday, she
also has many years experience with children. Together we strive to teach
the children the basic skills and how to become independant. We have a
class tree which we water and maintain the flowerbed surrounding it. We
also participate in recycling newspapers.
On a more personal note, I have a daughter named Emma Michaelene and a son
named Hunter Oliver. I moved to Mandeville in 2001 with the goal of teaching
in the top parish in Louisiana.
