Thank you for the thoughtful Christmas gifts. Hope everyone had a peaceful
and wonderful Christmas holiday.
Well it is back to business for us. We will continue with Geometry in math
and in reading we will read a story titled "One Riddle, One Answer." Please
refer to our weekly agenda for the skills that will be assessed on the tests.
In science, we have started our rock unit. The test will not be given until
next Friday, but please do not wait to study. I have noticed that overall
spelling grades have dropped a bit. Please make sure you are reviewing the
words nightly with your child.
Report cards go home on Friday, January 8th. Sign the envelope and return
it to school...you may keep the report card. If you should have any questions
or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
~ We are out of paper towels again. If you are able to donate any to our
classroom, I would greatly appreciate the help.
Please refer to your child's "Weekly Agenda" and Communication Log for
important announcements and reminders! The agenda should also be used as a
guide to make sure your child is completing all assigned homework on a
regular basis. I have noticed that some students are rushing through their
math homework, and when we check over it in class there are many problems
incorrect. It would be helpful and beneficial to your child to check over it
with them.
