Baby News: My daughter was born on Thursday, December 3rd at 4:15 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. We were able to come home on Monday afternoon. She is doing well and so are her parents. *****Learning News***** Reading: This week we are going to be working on comparing and contrasting books on winter. In class we will be talking about self-to-text, text-to- text, and world-to-text connections. On Friday, we will be watching the Polar Express and comparing the video to the story. Please look at these papers, sign the sheet, and send the folder back to school Thursday with all papers. • Our Christmas Program is December 14th at 8:30 in the morning. We will have a short “Cast Party” with punch and cookies in our room following the program. • We are singing “Jingle Bell Rock” as our solo. Please send your child to school that day wearing a black shirt and jeans. I will be providing sunglasses for the class to wear. • The 18th is a half day. Students may wear pajamas that are in accordance with the schools dress code.
