We emphasize trying to live by The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If we are all treating others the way we want to be treated, our school rules are easy to follow! Class Rules: *I will listen and follow directions carefully. *I will speak with permission and stay in my seat. *I will keep my hands, feet, and objects to myself. *I will use good manners and always wait for my turn. *I will do my best work and take care of materials. We also practice the FISH philosopy. The 4 principals of the FISH philosophy are: 1. Be there! (Be present and involved. Pay attention.) 2. Choose your attitude! (Pick a good one.) 3. Have fun! (We do have to work, but we can have fun while we do it.) 4. Make their day! (Try to make everyone feel special every day.) Consequences if the rules aren't followed. The behavior chart in your child's binder will reflect their daily conduct color. - Green card: Keep going. GREAT JOB! This will be an E grade. - Blue card: Slow-down, Warning, Caution! This will be an S grade. - Yellow card: Reflect on what I am doing! This will be an S grade. - Red card: STOP! Put on the brakes! This will be an N grade.
