I have been teaching first grade for fifteen years. I graduated from
Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor degree in Management and
Finance. I continued my education with an Alternate Certification in Lower
Elementary Education. I came to Madisonville Elementary in the fall of 2004
from Lyon Elementary. I am married and have two children. My daughter
Michelle is a graduate Mississippi State University and my son Jason is a
sophmore at Southeastern Louisiana University.
I enjoy teaching, being with your children, and look forward to learning
something new each day. I hope to instill a love of learning in every child
and to encourage them to search for knowledge.
The mission of our class is to engage in meaningful learning
through individual and group activities and to have fun with hands-on and
minds-on activities.
