: : : : Photo: About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher I have been teaching first grade for fifteen years. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor degree in Management and Finance. I continued my education with an Alternate Certification in Lower Elementary Education. I came to Madisonville Elementary in the fall of 2004 from Lyon Elementary. I am married and have two children. My daughter Michelle is a graduate Mississippi State University and my son Jason is a sophmore at Southeastern Louisiana University. I enjoy teaching, being with your children, and look forward to learning something new each day. I hope to instill a love of learning in every child and to encourage them to search for knowledge.
