Just a little about Ms. Graham....I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I
moved to Mandeville, LA in July, 2008. I am currently engaged. My fiance,
Greg, is from Mandeville and that is what brought me to Louisiana. We are
getting married in June of 2010. I went to Bowling Green State University in
Ohio where I studied Special Education. After graduating from Bowling Green I
went to the University of Pittsburgh where I obtained my Masters in Early
Intervention. I have been working in early intervention for 6 years. Last
year was my first year in the Parish, and my experience at Madisonville was so
rewarding. I am looking forward to getting to know my families and my
students like I did last year. I am looking forward to a great year.
Just a little about Ms. Helen...I grew up in Madisonville, and have been
here most of my life. I have been working at Madisonville Elementary for
eleven years. I was a Para in the Preschool Early Intervention class for
eight of those eleven years. Now I am the Kindergarten Inclusion
Paraprofessional. I am so looking forward to working in Kindergarten with
your children this year. It's going to be a Great Year!!!
We want to establish a great rapport with each individual. We want them to
be able to trust and learn from us as well as we learn from them. We expect
them to try their very best and to reach their capabilities, but most of all
we want them to enjoy school and have fun while they are there!!
