Dear Parents,
This week we will begin our study about fall. Please help your child
to collect some fall leaves and send to school in a plastic bag. This is due
Wednesday. We will sort, measure, compare and graph these. Please point out
any signs of fall that you may see to your child.
The letter of the week is Ll. Please send in objects or pictures that
start with sound on Wednesday. Thanks for doing homework with your child!!
They love sharing what they have brought from home. Your child will have the
opportunity to recite “Jack and Jill” or “Humpty Dumpty” tomorrow. Please
practice with your child tonight.
Please label your child’s fall outerwear, including sweatshirts. Please
show your child where their name is in their outerwear. All of the uniform
outerwear is identical..
The PTA is encouraging all families to join. We have seven families in our
class that have already joined PTA. Please consider joining PTA. They do so
much for the children! Also, next week is the last week to contribute to
United Way.
We will be having a Fall Festival on October 28th at 10:45. This is also
Mom’s Moments. Mothers are invited to come in and join in fall activates
with their child. The children will have a fall themed snack later that day.
You will receive a letter informing you of what you can send.
Your child’s blanket will be sent home Thursday to be washed. Please return
on Monday.
