What We Are Learning This Week:
Language Arts: We will be working with the letter Ll and ll. We will work
with sound blending words with l and ll and discriminating words beginning
with l.
Spelling: Santa, fast, help, stop, wish, this
Math: We will discuss the order property. We will also use counters to
identiy combinations for sums up to 7.
Social Studies: We will continue our unit on holiday customs and traditions
around the world.
HOMEWORK
Mon. - practice writing letter Ll; check reading folder; spelling words 3
times each
Tues. - reading folder; write 3 sentences using spelling words
Wed. - reading folder; math activity sheet; phonics page
Thurs. - study for spelling test; reading folder
REMINDERS
Dec. 14 - Monday - Christmas program and cast party - 8:30am
Dec. 18 - Friday - 1/2 day of school. Dismissal at 11:31. Wear your pajamas
for Polar Express Day. Christmas holidays begin!!!!!!
Jan. 4 - Monday - return to school
