What Are We Learning?

                       What’s Happening in Room 301

                        Week of November 30 – December 4

Reading: This week’s story is entitled “What Do Illustrators Do?” It is a
non-fiction narrative that explains how illustrators do their jobs, from the
initial planning stage to its completion. Ask your child to retell the
story to you later in the week. This week’s skill is putting story events in
sequence.

on the animal of their choice during science class. Students will also be
expected to create and complete an animal poster at home. (Explicit
directions for this project will be sent home tomorrow.) Finally, students
will complete Venn Diagrams in class to compare and contrast two separate
animal groups. All projects will be graded.
