*****STAR of the WEEK****
     

This week we are learning letter/ sound / formation of 
Oo/Holidays Around the World/ Animals We Know,rhyming words, 
opposites,color words-  review red, blue, green, orange yellow, purple , 
brown, black , pink , white & gray. 
In Math we working on Chap.5- numbers 11-31-recognizing, writing & 
counting sets 11-20, number combinations to make numbers 11-20, counting by 
2's & 5's
 
 This week we will be taking an imaginary journey to learn about celebrations 
that happen at this time of the year. This week we will start in the USA and 
learn about our traditions and celebrations, then on to Holland where 
Sinterklaus leaves candy in wooden shoes.

Heinold, Mrs. Reitman, Mrs. Eckhardt, Mrs. Powell, Mrs. LeBlanc, Mrs. Gispert 
and Mrs. Naum.

Reminders: 
1.All money, notes and homework must be in your child's blue folder. I can 
not check through each child's school bag.
2.All money must be in an envelope with your child's name and what it is for.
3.Please sit with your child as he/she does their homework, but don't do it
for him/her. Homework must be done on primary tablet paper.
4. READ every night to and with your child!
5. Join the PTA, please!We did great! We came in 3rd!
6. Send healthy snack for 21 children on your child's snack day! No nuts, 
please!!! Thanks
7. Go over mistakes on your child's work!
8. Money & permission slip for the Holiday Extravaganza was due Fri. Nov. 
20th!
9. WE need  Expo low odor dry erase markers.
10. Most of the kids need glue sticks and new crayons- 16 count. Think about 
adding crayons, glue sticks and markers to your child's Christmas stocking to 
send to school.
11.Dec. 4- Field Trip to Covington High for "The Holiday Extravaganza"
12.If anyone would like to help out at cooking, I am getting ready to make up 
a schedule for Jan. Cooking in DEc. only on Dec. 11- Tara Trythall and Robyn 
Powell will be the parent helpers.
