Week of December 7
**Mrs. Sorbet’s reign has officially begun! She will do a wonderful job
while I am gone.
I will miss the group! –Mrs. Penn
   ** 1st Grade will perform next Monday, December 14 from 12:30 – 1:30 in
the gym. After the program, we will return to our classroom for our “Cast
Party”. Your child brought home a letter last week about what he/she should
bring. Don’t forget that students should wear a plain red shirt or dress,
uniform pants, and have a Santa hat during our performance.
** Plan to arrive early on that Monday to get a good seat. You will need to
sign in outside the office and then proceed to the gym.
** Don’t forget to practice the math flashcards on Tuesday and Wednesday
nights. The flashcards are sent home on Tuesdays in their binder. Encourage
them to practice using the “touchpoints” rather than counting on their
fingers.
** Thank you for writing transportation change notes. It is helping to
alleviate confusion at the end of the day.
