• WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT THEM SAINTS! We had so much fun wearing our
black and gold clothes on Friday. I’d like to think that we were the good luck
charm that helped our boys WIN!! Check our class website this week for our
black and gold picture!
• Happy Birthday Vaughn! Vaughn celebrated his birthday yesterday and today we
will sing him the birthday song and give him the birthday bag to take home for
the night!
• Thank you for sending in the requested items for our 100th day of school
celebration. If you have not done so yet, and feel that you will be unable to
donate please let me know before Wednesday so I can make appropriate
arrangements.
• Thank you for donating money to the Haiti relief fund on Friday. I was so
happy to have such strong class participation with this event.
• A big thank you to Scarlett’s mom for separating our Scholastic catalogs!
• We are still collecting can goods for the local food bank. We are trying to
collect 100 pieces in honor of the 100th day of school this Thursday.
• Science Night will be held tomorrow evening from 6-7:30. Please note that
this event is for the children and their dads. We ask that siblings not
attending MES refrain from coming. I look forward to seeing all of my children
and their daddies!

Sara is a happy friend in our classroom and we are so glad she attends MES
