•	It’s not even Christmas and we already got our first snow! How exciting! I
hope everyone enjoyed this special treat over the weekend.

•	We had a great time at Covingtion High on Friday. We watched the performer’s
dance, sing, and act out skits to celebrate the Christmas spirit. Zachary was
even selected from the audience to dance in the isles during one of the songs!

•	Our Christmas party is scheduled for next Thursday at 8:30-9:15 a.m. We will
celebrate this time together in our classroom. Parents/guardians are invited
to come. Our theme is “Reindeer.” If your child will be passing out treat bags
to our classroom friends please keep in mind that we have 21 students. 11 boys
and 10 girls. In order to save on time, your child will be allowed to pass out
his/her treat bags at the end of the day on Thursday.

•	Babysitting services will be provided for younger siblings during our party
time. Please contact this office to learn more about this or to reserve your spot.

•	Next Friday (December 18th) will be a half day for students. The entire
school will enjoy our last day before Christmas by watching the Polar Express,
drinking hot chocolate, and wearing our pajamas! After school care services
will not be provided this day.

•	Thank you to all of the parents who attended our PTA meeting last Thursday.
It was great to see the support and enjoy some yummy smore together.

*** Please remember to write your child's first and last name in their sweat
shirts and jackets. *****

Our class is currently in need of baby wipes for art projects and Clorox wipes
to keep our room GERM FREE! If you are able to donate either of these items it
would be a HUGE help to us!! :)
