December 7-11
Monday- Use your new pink alphabet flash cards to practice forming words. You
will need to write down at least five of the words that you make. DO NOT glue
these down or loose these. We will keep these in our poetry books for the rest
of the year. Also, use your white number flash cards to practice matching
the number to the number word. Cut the cards in half so the number and number
word are separate. We have already learned numbers 1-7 so your child should be
able to match those quickly.
Tuesday- Complete page 101-102 and page 105-106.
Wednesday- Read the sight word book “It Is” Sing your number seven song and
complete page 99-100.
Thursday-.Read “Tom on Top” (your child should be able to stretch out all of
these words) Read “The Ostrich is Talking” Your child may or may not be able
to read all of these words. You may help them if they have trouble but please
encourage them to stretch out each word they struggle with. What words rhyme
in this poem? Point to the words that have the letter “o” in it. Point to the
following words; in,go,is & the
