homwork assignments, etc....
Homework is a daily reinforcement of skills learned throughout the
school day. Homework should only take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete
each night. It's a good oportunity to spend quality time with your child one
on one. Make it fun and enjoyable!
Your child's homework will be on his/her Weekly Newsleters from his/her
ELA and Math Resource Teachers. Weekly Newsletters will be placed in the
FISH BINDERS. If you have any questions, concerns, or problems, feel free to

*** There will be a cummulative test on all phonetic patterns at the end of
each nine weeks. We are looking for the students to master the phonetic
patterns and be able to apply them in all of the ELA areas(spelling,word
recognition and reading in context), not just learn them for a test at the
end of the week.
