Dear Parents,
This week in reading we will study the vocabulary words from “Meet the
Super Croc”. We will review long th, sh, ch, and wh sounds, suffixes,
prefixes, summarizing, and identify and write present and past tense action
verbs. This week in math, we will continue to review telling time, and
continue to work on word problems. In social studies will continue studying
the first Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving test will not be until Thursday,
November 19th.

Reading – Study vocabulary words and definitions from “Meet the Super
Croc” in the reading folder and practice book pg. 101 (diagraphs)
Language – worksheet pg. 61 (past tense verbs)
Spelling – Lesson 14 – Write words two times each in the spelling notebook
Math - clock worksheet (elapsed time)
Social Studies – study Thanksgiving study guide
TUESDAY
Reading - Study vocabulary words and definitions from “Meet the Super Croc”
in the reading folder and do practice book pg. 102 ( vocabulary)
Language – worksheet pg. 62 (past tense verbs)
Spelling – Lesson 14 – write the first 5 words in ABC order in spelling
notebook
Math - clock worksheet (elapsed time)
Social Studies – study Thanksgiving study guide
WEDNESDAY
Reading - Study vocabulary words and definitions from “Meet the Super Croc”
in the reading folder and do practice book pg. 104 (comprehension:
summarizing)
Language – worksheet pg. 65 (review and assess)
Spelling – Lesson 14 – Write 5 sentences using five words from list and
write in spelling notebook
