Guided/Independent Discovery:
identify leaves according to color, shape, and size
practice and develop listening skills
sort, count, match, pattern, and graph leaves by color, shape, and size
practice and develop counting one to one correspondence, and numeral
recognition and identification
participate in movement to music and using props while pretending to be a
leaf falling from a tree
participate in a nature walk and share findings
participate identifying and using descriptive language to determine the
fall season, weather changes, and visual changes
participate in art activity painting and glueing paper on a "tree" using
fall colors
attend a presentation by firefighters and role play what a firefighter does
