About The Teacher
My name is Rachel Lundberg. I have been teaching at Mandeville Elementary school for the past five years. I graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2005 with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood education. After graduating from college, my husband and I moved to Louisiana. After teaching Kindergarten for a few year, I wanted to take my career further and decided to get my masters degree. I recieved my masters degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University online. I have a wonderful husband and we have a beautiful little girl. We also have a dog. We love spending time outside. We enjoy going for walks, bike rides and going to the beach. We also love going to New York to visit our family.

Mission
My Mission is to create a child centered, literacy rich, safe environment where all students are willing to take chances. In addition, I will make sure that my students are offered hands on learning opportunities and that my instruction is related to real world outcomes. I will do my best to transform my classroom into a safe learning community where all students are challenged. I will also save time for daily and weekly reflection which will be necessary to ensure that I am working toward completing my personal mission.
