Math: Multiplication & Division continues. We will work on fact families and
problem solving strategies this week.
Reading: The story is Jones Family Express. Our weekly skill is making
inferences. Vocabulary words are annual, potential, expensive, politely,
package, wrapping, innocent, & aisle.
Language: Students will identify and use irregular verbs (run, ran, had run)
in their writing. In writer's workshop, we will work on non-fiction writing
(about Louisiana history project quilts).
Science: This week the students will focus on force and motion. Students will
conduct experiments about force, motion, speed, & friction. Vocabulary words
are force, motion, speed, gravity, weight, work, & simple machine.

spelling words. Any written homework should be done in this notebook.
