Personal Information

My name is Bruce Bundy. I am 53 years old and have been married for 23
years. I have 4 children ranging in age from 13 to 18 years old. I enjoy
attending church, spending time with my family and playing racquetball.

My undergraduate degree is a BS in Mathematics from LA Tech
University. My Masters Degree is in Educational Administration from the
University of New Orleans. My Specialist Degree is in Educational
Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

I have served in the field of education for 29 years. I began teaching
at Chapel Trafton, a private Christian school, in Baton Rouge beginning in
1987. At Chapel Trafton I taught high school math and 8th grade science. I
coached several sports. After 4 years at Chapel Trafton I felt compelled to
give myself back to public education. I taught at Broadmoor High School in
Baton Rouge for two years (Note: I graduated from Broadmoor in 1981). At
Broadmoor I taught math and physical science and physics. I also coached
several sports. After getting married I was fortunate to receive a job in
St. Tammany Parish at Northshore High School. I taught physics and physical
science and coached. After 1 year at Northshore I transferred to the brand
new Fontainebleau High School. I spent 8 years at Fontainebleau. The first
two years I taught math and coached and served as the Athletic Director. My
final 6 years were spent as an Assistant Principal. In August of 2002 I was
appointed Principal of Mandeville High School. The 2016 - 2017 school year
will be my fifteenth year in this position.
