The Wrap Up Meeting for MPG 2015-2016 will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the MHS Library (or in the commons).
This meeting is used to vote in the officers for next year as well as discuss anything you may have noticed from the party which went well, or could be improved upon.
If you worked the night of party, you were told the future of MPG is extremely bleak. I don't foresee it lasting past the 2016-2017 school year unless people step up and shadow current chairs. Next year, all of the chairs and officers will pretty much be gone (along with all of the knowledge gained over the years).
We are still in need of a Funding Director for this year (officer position). We also need Decorations, Fun Run, Golf, Lunch Table, Set Up and Take Down chairs. We may have a Database chair, and will know more later this week.
Next year the following positions will be open: Director, Treasurer (officer positions), Fall Raffle, Food (securing donations), Prizes, Registrations, Volunteer, Webmaster.
There are many positions which all come together and make the party a success. These positions are not overwhelming in terms of time given.
If you know of people who want to be involved, please invite them to the meeting. The original idea is that freshman, sophomore and junior parents put this on as a gift to the senior parents. It is very hard if you have a graduating senior to be heavily involved the day of the party.
