I am a junior who plays on the basketball team and enjoys hanging out with my

I am a big Red Sox fan. I love country music. I like ice cream and Disney
World. I am a junior and I play shame ball. I am survior of both a thunder
storm and multiple shark attacks. Its a sign. I am basiclly a legend.

I'm Kayla Miller, and I will be giving you information about everything. I am
a junior at Mandeville High and Co-captain of the MHS Spinnakers and I am in

Mandeville High. I'm a senior at Mandeville High and I will forever be a Navy

Katie Stainback (All about helping out/ Ideas editor)
I'm Katie, and I keep you posted on non-profit events and how you can
help in the community. Although I'm a senior here at Mandeville High, it is
my first year participating in newspaper. I'm passionate about helping
others, especially animals, and I'm even a volunteer at the Humane Society. I
have no siblings except for a dog named Rosie, who is my angel. I'm a Scorpio
and I like long walks on the beach.
Sophia Parandian (Music Junkie/ Editor)
Hey there! I'm Sophia, and I'm 16 years old and a sophomore here at
Mandeville High school. Here at the Crest Online, I am in charge of the
music/entertainment section. I will be giving you guys the top news on all of
the music in, around, and outside MHS. Let me tell you a little about myself.
First of all, God is number one in my life, and everything revolves around
Him. I have lived in Mandeville my whole life. I am Iranian. I love
traveling, and have been to over 7 countries! I enjoy hanging out with
friends and family, and exploring and adventuring never gets dull. I love
music, that's why I chose to write about it and go in depth with it. Also,
I've always developed a deep passion for writing, as I fell it's an intimate
way to express one's feelings through words. In the future, I hope to be an
awesome leader, and go to college for Journalism/Public Speaking/World
Studies. My dream job would include being a missionary, traveling around the
world to help others, and then coming back to America to speak and write
about my experiences. While at the Crest, I hope to provide very interesting
information regarding music and such! Enjoy!
Garland Patterson ( The Fashionista)
Hey Skippers! I'm Garland and I'm in charge of the style and fashion column
here at The Crest Online. I will be giving you guys the latest news in
fashion; tips,new lines, designers, stores, and pretty much anything else you
could think of. I am fifteen and a sophomore here at Mandeville High. The
artistry and skill of fashion design is one of the biggest inspirations in my
life. Some of my favorite designers inlcude Dianne Von Furstenberg, Marc
Jacobs, and always fabulous, house of Chanel. I am also a fierce and fabulous
Leo, a yoga junkie, and a traveler. I hope to go to the University of
Mississippi and major in Journalism.

Hey! My name is Marina Cacho. I am a sophomore and I have a twin sister,
Mia that also goes to this school. I am involved with Best Buddies, and play
soccer for this school. I'm in newspaper because I enjoy writing. I would
like to major in Journalism or APE (special needs p.e.) I'm looking forward
to this year becasue it's the first time we have an on-line paper. I hope

Well, all, my name is Jared Cleveland. I am currently a senior at
Mandeville High school. I plan on going to Southeastern Louisiana University
to get a degree in Physics. Writing has always been a passion of mine so I
hope you like my articles.
Abby Jennings (Important Events in the World/Editor)
My name is Abigail Jennings, but I go by Abby. I was born in College
Station, Texas, home of the Aggies, and I moved all around Texas for the
first thirteen years of my life. I went from College Station, to Friendswood,
to Dallas, then to Fort Worth, and finally wound up here in Mandeville,
Louisiana, where I started seventh grade at Mandeville Junior High. I'm now a
sophomore. I joined The Crest because I love to write. I'm one of the
new 'online' writers. My column is on Mandeville High's clubs. I have high
hopes for the new online edition of The Crest, and I am proud to be a part of
it in the first year.
