I have been teaching at Mandeville Jr. High for nine years. I hold a
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in
Mild/Moderate Special Education. I teach 8th grade English Language Arts I
have an 18 year-old daughter who is a freshman at Ole Miss, and I have a 21
year-old son who lives in Baton Rouge. I currently live in
Mandeville, and when I'm not teaching I enjoy reading and travelling.
To foster a deep interest and love for Reading and the English language. I
believe that my classroom environment will enable students to
become lifelong learners, responsible citizens, and successful
professionals. I am committed to developing students' writing skills for
creative, academic, or professional purposes, as well as strengthening
students' critical thinking and research skills.
