Letter to Band Parents: November 19, 2009
Dear Band Parents,
We are looking forward to performing our Band and Chorus Holiday Concert on
Tuesday, December 8th in the MJH Gym. Please review the concert wardrobe
information below.
Band students are to wear their formal band uniform for the concert: red band
uniform shirt, plain black dress pants (NO JEANS), solid-colored black socks
and solid-colored black shoes (no designs) as outlined in the band handbook
given out at the beginning of the year. Belts are optional but must be solid-
black. Undershirts are also optional and must be white crew neck. Correct
uniform is required for the performance. This performance will count as the
band student’s final exam grade for the second nine weeks. Please contact me
if you have any questions regarding the band uniform or other band issues at
985-624-8975. Also contact the director if you are experiencing financial
issues in purchasing the proper attire so that we may handle these issues
prior to the concert date.
