I was born in New Orleans and I grew up in Covington, LA. I have been
teaching in public schools for seven years. I received my B.M.E degree
from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. I received my M.M. degree
from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003. My main instrument is
the clarinet.
I am a member of the Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA), the Music
Educators National Conference (MENC), and the Society of Ethnomusicology
(SEM).
I love teaching music and I hope to assist young musicians as they discover
their abilities and develope their skills in performing music.
