Nov.9-13
We will begin Chapter 7 this week. Vocabulary has already been done and
turned in.
Monday's plans changed due to IDA. Morning classes read a Current Science
magazine and completed an accompanying worksheet.
Tuesday - discuss pgs. 184-189 Worksheet pgs. 16 and 23
Wednesday - discuss pgs. 190 - 194. Students will be illustrating soil
profiles.
Thursday - discuss pgs. 195 -196. Workshet pgs. 18 and 24. Interims come home
unless Ida moved them to Friday. Haven't heard as of this writing.
Friday - Lab Activity - not sure yet what we will be doing. Depends on
available and affordable supplies.
FYI - The lab on Friday was chalk and vinegar illustrating chemical
weathering. We used white chalk vs. colored chalk to see which weathered the
fastest. We also played around with some UV beads.
****CHANGE*****Chapter 7 TEST next Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Next week is the Stars field trip to see "A Christmas Carol". That will be on
Thursday, November 19th.
Friday, November 20th, last day, before Thanksgiving holidays. Return to
school on Monday, November 30th.
