This is my fourteenth year of teaching, eleven of which have been here at
Mandeville Junior High. I received my BA at Nicholls State University and my Masters at Northwestern
State University. This past summer, I graduated from Northwestern State University with a Specialist in
Education with a concentration in Educational Technology. I was the 2004-05 MJH Teacher of the Year
and the 1st Runner-up for Elk's Parish Teacher of the Year. I live in Big Branch with my husband, my
twin girls, and dog, Deeogee.
It is my job to prepare my students for the LEAP and test, high school and
life beyond it. Students should be actively engaged in learning activities to
get the most out of their educational experience.
