<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 24pt"> <P align=left><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 18pt">Math: We will continue working on our toothpick bridge project/competition this week. This project makes math meaningful and real by allowing students to use all of the mathematical skills we have studied this year. Working in groups, student contractors operated simulated architectual firms to create strong economical bridges and account for construction cost. The project will take around 10 days to complete. At the end, we will "break" our bridges to see which group built the </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 18pt">strongest bridge. Grades will be based on </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 18pt">participation and applied math skills during the project. <STRONG>We will have a Math 4 Today Quiz on Friday.</STRONG> </SPAN></P></SPAN> <P align=left> <A href="newslettermay14.pdf"><SPAN style="COLOR: red; FONT-SIZE: 18pt">Click here for this week's Newsletter</SPAN></A> </P>
