Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

I hope you are all having a great summer.  It is very quiet around the school.  I am really missing the sounds of the students! 

I have been hiring new faculty/staff.  Here are the new additions to our MICS community: Ms. Courtney LeBlanc (the second first grade teacher), Ms. Paula Duet (second grade teacher), Mrs. Geralyn Rodrigue(fifth grade teacher), Mrs. Becky McManus (P.E. teacher), and Mrs. Denise Alfred (Kinder teacher).  I am in the process of interviewing a teacher for fourth grade.  Please continue to pray.

I will be leaving tomorrow (June 11) for San Antonio, TX to attend meetings with my CDP (Congregation of Divine Providence) community.  I will be returning to Houma at the beginning of July.  I will be checking my emails during this time in S.A.  I will also be periodically checking the phone messages.

Please know that you are all in my prayers.
