Birthday Books is a program that gives our students and faculty an
opportunity to give a special gift to our library for their birthday. On the
last Friday of each month, each student, parent or faculy member can visit
the library and purchase a book to donate for our library collection.
The giver signs a special birthday book plate that is placed on the inside of
his/her chosen book. These books are on the birthday collection shelf for a
month then shelved for circulation. The students then become a member of the
birthday book club. To recognize all birthday club members a star with the
student's name is placed on the Birthday Club Oscar.
Each book costs $10.00. This money is collected on the last Friday of the
Month during the Birthday Book celebration.
Consider sharing your birthday in a way that will be remembered and
celebrated for years by the entire NSU-E student body.
