FALL SEMESTER

Central to our humanity is the capacity to feel, to think and to express. The Fine Arts cultivate the student’s potential to feel more intensely, think more profoundly, and express more originally. Through education in music, dance, drama, and the visual arts, students become more complete as individuals. Through their own experiences in the Fine Arts, students learn ways to celebrate our collective human experience.

Some planned areas of concentration for the fall semester include the elements and principles of visual art and drama and studying the history of the arts beginning with the Prehistoric age, Egyptian, Near East, Aegean, Ancient Greece, Etruscan, Ancient Roman, Early Christian, Byzantine, Medieval Arts, and Renaissance.
