Ms. Casselberry is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where
she achieved a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education with her
concentration area in Math. While at UNO, she served as president of Pre-
Service Teachers in Action and was recognized as the Outstanding Female
Graduate in the College of Education in 2001. In 2005, Ms. Casselberry
completed her master's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in
Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in gifted math education.
Ms. Casselberry has taught Applied Algebra, Algebra One, Algebra
Two and Advanced Math while teaching at NHS for the last 6 years. She is a
member of the Design team, one of the Junior Class Sponsors, and the NHS
Gifted Coordinator. One of her most exciting moments as a teacher was being
selected to participate in Northrop Grumman's "Weightless Flight of
Discovery" in August 2007. She was one of 60 local math and science
teachers to experience zero gravity several times while aboard a plane on
August 30, 2007.
