Current Events – 4th Nine Weeks
•Find and print a current internet article on anything happening in a
French speaking country (within the past 30 days)
•Read the article and reflect on the event
•Write one paragraph summarizing the article, and one paragraph
reflecting (giving your opinion) on the event
•Each paragraph must consist of 7-10 sentences
•Type your two paragraphs with the correct heading (below) and attach
to the printout of your article
•Turn in your assignment at the beginning of your class period on the
due date given
•If you are absent on a due date, you must turn in the assignment the
day you return to school
•All current events will be worth 20 points
DUE DATES:
Current event #1 – March 20
Current event #2 – April 3
Current event #3 – April 24
Current event #4 – May 8
(Seniors will turn in assignments #1 and #2 only)
**I will accept Current Events ONE day late for -5 points**
