English I Honors
Last week we began the memoir October Sky. We will be reading this
quickly so reading homework should be done at home most nights. We are are
currently up to chapter 8 and will get up through chapter 10 by Friday. On
Monday, we had a tough quiz. A POI assignment is due Friday 8/29.
English I Gifted
The Mythology presentations are going to begin on Thursday and last through
Wednesday 9/3. The guidelines are on my teacheweb site in the handout
section. This week I am going to allow some class time to work on these
lessons. This is a very high level assignment so work for this should be
done at home as well as in school.
