About The Counselors

Mrs. Pauline Calderone has been in education for over 20 years.  Her 
undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1977 is in 
Health, Physical and Safety Education.  Four years later, she received her 
Master's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University as Counselor in 
Secondary Schools.  She has taught in St. Tammany Parish her entire career, 
including elementary, junior high, high school, as well as adult education.  
Schools that she taught in include Boyet Jr. High (when it was a K-9 
school), Coastal College, and Emerson Academy (a school for at-risk youth 
where she served as principal for 9 years). She is a certified MASTER 
PRACTITIONER in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which provides a 
practical understanding of how the brain works:  how people think, learn, 
motivate themselves and change.  NLP is about how people process and 
retrieve information and how this manifests into behavior. 
     Mrs. Calderone began working at Northshore High School in August of 
2003.  The position of Counselor is where she remains to date.
