Cajun/Zydeco dances are held once a month in Abita Springs at the Old 
Town Hall on Level Street.  The Nortshore Cajun Dance Club has this 
dance once a month.     It is open to the public and A LOT OF FUN!!  
Even if the band is a cajun band, people dance zydeco to the music.
FREE lessons are from 7:00pm - 7:30pm.  The Dance is from 8pm - 
10:30pm.  Admission for students is $6.00.  Adults are $8.00 for  non-
members of the club and $6.00 for members.

Sept. 13 - Rodney Thibodeaux band
Oct. 25 - Bruce Daigrepont Band

Dec. 6 - Lee Benoit Band (Christmas Dance)

The Bruce Daigrepont Band is Great & plays almost every Sunday 
evening in N.O. at Tipitina's for the faix do do (5:30pm - 9pm).

ABITA SPRINGS DANCE DIRECTIONS:   From Slidell - Take I-12  to the 
Mandeville/Abita Springs exit. (hwy. LA 59).  Go right after exiting -
  (north) on LA 59 about 4 miles and you will be in Abita Springs on 
Level Street. Go past red light and the Town Hall is about 2 blocks 
on left side of street. Pass the Town Gazebo on the right at the 
light.  A large empty lot for parking is across the street.  
It is a great old place with nice hard wood floors.

APPLICATIONS CAN BE PICKED UP FROM ROOM 101 (MS. PECORARO).
 Dance Class is each Wed. at 6:15pm in the Cafeteria.  Class is over 
at 7:30pm and parents should pick students up by 7:35pm.

DANCE CLASS --EVERY WEDNESDAY.  DUES ARE $15.00 for the whole year!  
Everyone rotates and dances with everyone.  Dances such as Rhumba, 
Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Hustle, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, 
Cha-Cha, Salsa, Zydeco and more will be taught.  The Dance club will 
meet on Wednesdays at 6:15 AND DANCE FROM 6:30pm- 7:30pm in the 
cafeteria.   Every week professional dance instructors will teach 
class.  A minimal fee (usually $1.00) will be collected that evening 
before class from each member to pay for the instructors.  
We are going to have fun and learn some great dance steps!
