The children enjoyed watching and experiencing the life cycle of a butterfly! We will spend the rest or our time together learning about Sea Life and SUMMER! During our Sea Life unit we will discuss which animals live on land and sea, as well as what animals live in fresh or salt water. After Sea Life we will do a unit on Summer. The focus of this unit will be to increase awareness of the season of summer. Students will be introduced to various activities such as picnics, and trips to the beach and pool. On May 7th we will take a walking filed trip to Northwestern Elementary so that the students can become familiar with their new school. They will get to visit a classroom, meet the teachers and principals, and best of all...see the playground! Please send in your permission slip for this ASAP if you have not already. Our PreK LUAU is set for May 11th. The cost is $10.00 per child.
