About The Teacher

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Amy Bonds.  I 
am beginning my 11th year as a first grade teacher.  I graduated from LSU 
with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education.  I've been married for 
8 years to my husband, Alex, and we have a four year old daughter named 
Hannah. 

           To be a teacher in the right sense is to be a learner.
      Instruction begins when you, the teacher, learn from the learner,
    put yourself in his place so that you may understand what he understands
                       and in the way he understands it.
