Homework

Read your favorite fairy tale with your child before he/she goes to sleep.  
After reading the same story for a few days, ask your child to "read" the 
story to you.  Talk about the author and illustrator.  Ask what their jobs 
are.  Ask who the main characters are.  Remind your child that characters 
are who the story is about.  

Go on a shape hunt in your house.  Name a shape, and search for that shape 
inside the house.  Continue with other shapes.  Try using  colors.
